In division, the quotient is what one unit receives.

Montessori Division Board: Learn division by distributing objects (virtual beads) and develop a visual and kinesthetic understanding of division. Division Board app is a virtual rendition of the Montessori Division Board that demonstrates sharing of the dividend beads, across the divisor skittles to discover the quotient - the "share of one".   Our apps are virtual Montessori virtual manipulitives.  Are apps are created to complement the Montessori experience and bring Montessori concepts to all students via the iPad.

Montessori Multiplication Board: Students practice of addition and subtraction math facts. Settings allow for specific addition and subtraction tables, or the set-up of custom problems.  Students can use the beads to practice their math facts or practice just with the random generated problems.   Like all our apps, a check mark indicates a correct answer, if the check mark does not appear it is a kind reminder to revisit the problem.  Runs on IOS 10+ iPads.

Multiplication is the method of adding the same number over and over.

Montessori Bead Skip Counting: Students develop a mental concept of increasing quantity

as they drag and connect the bead bars from the virtual wooden box. The design is a new incarnation

of a classic Montessori math material, the "short chains" and "long chains". It uses the Montessori

colored bead chains to show the relationship of number multiples in a chain/number line format.

Many children enjoy building on their success by adding more beads to the chain and continuing the work.

 Runs on IOS 9+ iPads.

Adding is the method of putting numbers together.

Montessori Stamp Game:  students develop the mental concept of adding. They create addends on the iPad screen with virtual stamps, just as they can with the Montessori physical material, and then they drag addends together. The action of putting the stamps together develops the understanding of addition.  The Stamp Game app also creates a visual representation of carrying, which Montessori calls "exchanging". Using this app a student can see carrying and understand it with one movement of their finger.  Subtraction, as well, can be set to be a static or dynamic experience.

Runs on IOS 9 or older iPads.

The Real Stamp Game Review

by Guyfrmday

This one is the REAL stamp game. My child has been struggling with the stamp game at school. Using this app, he has really caught on to what he should be doing. I think this is the closest thing to the real stamps that I have seen. I also like the way the problem sets give five different problems to work. The green/red check marks give the instant feedback to the child. The automatic counting of the groups is a plus, over the real stamp game. It is like an intermediate step for the child to build confidence.

If you purchase any of our apps we appreciate a review on Apple App Store or Google Play.  Your input is much appreciated.  You can also contact us at contact@MontessoriTech.net.

Thank you Guyfrmday!
